Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held expanded-format talks following their one-on-one meeting in Tbilisi, the Foreign Ministry reported.
The two foreign ministers then held a joint press conference.
In his statement to the press, the Armenian FM said that the bilateral agenda is multilayered, encompassing active cooperation in all areas.
Armenia and Georgia continue to strengthen their strategic partnership aimed at expanding and strengthening regional connectivity, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili in Tbilisi.
“We must consistently promote the expansion and strengthening of connectivity through our strategic partnership and prevent any obstacles along this path. Today, my counterpart and I discussed this vision and approach, and I believe there is a mutually beneficial understanding,” Mirzoyan stated.
The foreign minister also addressed issues raised by the business community.
“Naturally, we are aware of the concerns voiced by business circles, and we have political mutual understanding regarding the steps needed to address them,” Mirzoyan emphasized.
