The process of normalizing relations with Armenia is proceeding in close coordination with Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said while responding to journalists’ questions after returning from Baku. Erdoğan expressed satisfaction with the ongoing processes.
“Winds of peace are blowing, and Turkey welcomes this. In the process of normalizing relations with Armenia, we are proceeding simultaneously with Azerbaijan,” he said.
Erdoğan added that Ankara had supported Baku since the very beginning of the war. He also emphasized that after the end of the conflict in the region, the trends of peace and development are strengthening.
