The International Court of Justice of the United Nations will publish the verdict on the issue of applying a temporary measure in the 'Armenia v. Azerbaijan' case. The court will publish its decision on Friday, November 17, 2023, we learn from the court's website.
The Republic of Armenia, referring to Article 41 of the Statute and Article 73 of the Rules of Court, submitted a request to the Court yesterday for the indication of provisional measures, “to preserve and protect rights enshrined in the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (‘CERD’)”. Armenia requests the Court to indicate the following provisional measures, and to reaffirm Azerbaijan’s obligations under the Orders it has rendered in this case, in particular those of 7 December 2021 and 22 February 2023.
