In response to the US attack, the Iranian Navy targeted US military facilities in the region.
The IRGC warned that if aggression is repeated, the response will be more powerful. The Corps also stressed that according to the fifth point of Islamabad’s memorandum of understanding, shipping through the Strait of Hormuz must be coordinated with Iran, and the US wanted to violate this condition.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security Committee of the Iranian parliament, also stated that the American side is not showing any commitment to negotiations or a ceasefire.
“The US has again attacked Iran during the negotiations. The failed US president has shown that he has no commitment to the principles of negotiations or a ceasefire. This reckless violation of the ceasefire, as always, will lead to their retreat and regret. The blame game no longer works,” the official noted.
