Authorities in Türkiye are investigating the origin of two unidentified drones that crashed in separate northern provinces.
In the village of Kushkayasi in the northern province of Kastamonu, a drone weighing more than 200 kilograms crashed near a residential building and caught fire upon impact, the IHA news agency reported.
No immediate information was provided on casualties or damage to nearby structures.
In a separate incident, another unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was discovered in the Alacam district of Samsun province. Security forces cordoned off the area while specialists examined the device.
