Russia is ready to discuss with Yerevan the parameters of Moscow’s possible participation in the TRIPP project, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has said.
“We have already defined our position on Trump’s route. The details of the Armenian-American initiative still need to be studied,” the diplomat added.
Galuzin recalled that Armenia’s railway network will be managed until 2038 by a subsidiary of Russian Railways, that the country uses the Russian railway line, and that Russian border guards are stationed on the border with Iran.
“It is also necessary to take into account Armenia’s membership in the EAEU. Under these conditions, it is obvious that our partners cannot do without Russia,” the deputy minister said.
