Armenia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Armen Gevondyan, met on December 19 with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Defense, Aviation Lieutenant General Däuren Qosanov. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the leadership of Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry was introduced to the newly appointed military attaché at the Armenian Embassy to Kazakhstan, Colonel Arayik Noroyan.
In the ensuing discussion, views were exchanged on the prospects for developing cooperation between the defense ministries of Armenia and Kazakhstan, which carry out bilateral interaction on a program-based framework.
Issues related to expanding the legal framework of cooperation, as well as other topics of mutual interest, were also addressed.
