U.S. President Donald Trump has invited Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House in the "near future," the prime minister's office said on Monday (December 1), shortly after Trump said Israel should maintain a strong and true dialogue with Syria, as he expressed continued support for making Syria a prosperous country.
"It is very important that Israel maintain a strong and true dialogue with Syria, and that nothing takes place that will interfere with Syria’s evolution into a prosperous state," Trump said in a Truth Social post.
