Reuters. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday (May 13) at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia kicked off a four-day visit to the Gulf, focusing more on economic deals than pressing regional security matters ranging from war in Gaza to talks over Iran's nuclear program.
Trump is visiting Riyadh, site of a Saudi-US Investment Forum, before going to Qatar on Wednesday (May 14) and the United Arab Emirates on Thursday (May 15). He has not scheduled a stop in Israel, a decision that has raised questions about where Israel stands in Washington's priorities.
