From September 19, as a result of military operations, as well as the explosion that took place in the vicinity of Stepanakert, 237 patients were transported to Armenia, of which 142 were transported by helicopter, 95 by ambulance. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said about it during the press conference.
“Today it is planned to transport about 80 patients. Some of them are receiving treatment in hospitals today, some of them have been discharged," Nazeli Baghdasaryan said.
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan, in his turn, noted that the employees of the Unified Social Service provide service in all hospitals where there are wounded. We are talking about victims of both explosions and military operations.
"The social workers of the Unified Social Service are conducting a needs assessment there to understand the needs of their family members, who are also forcibly displaced and are currently in different parts of the Republic of Armenia," he said, reminding that a similar service was also carried out after the events of September 2022.
The minister also informed that psychologists are also involved in the works, which are needed these days and are extremely important.
