EU Special Representative for South Caucasus and crisis in Georgia Magdalena Grono referred to the August 8 Washibgton Summit anniversary.
"Today marks the first anniversary of the historic Summit of Armenian, Azerbaijani and US leaders on 8 August 2025. The EU strongly welcomes the series of positive and constructive steps taken since then to further institutionalise and advance the peace process. Armenia and Azerbaijan leaders have opened the way for lasting and irreversible peace. The EU continues to support both countries and their societies on their path towards peace and reconciliation", Grono said in a post on X.
