Armenia has never been involved in anti-Russian actions, is not involved and will not be involved. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a press conference, referring to Armenia-Russia relations.
Pashinyan recalled a previously narrated case, when during one of the official negotiations it was said that EU-Armenia relations harm the interests of the Russian Federation, Armenia's Prime Minister asked to give an example, but no example was provided, because, according to Pashinyan, there is no such example.
“It is said that the Ukrainian President came to Armenia, excuse me, but why shouldn’t he come to Armenia? Why, since Armenia was in conflict with Azerbaijan, didn’t the Azerbaijani President go to Russia, or didn’t the Russian President go to Azerbaijan? Was there a case when we said, why is the Azerbaijani President going to Russia, or the Russian President going to Azerbaijan?” he said.
Referring to Armenia’s position on the Ukrainian conflict, Pashinyan said: "I said back in 2022 that in matters related to Ukraine (at that time our activities in the CSTO were not even frozen), I said that Armenia is not Russia's ally in the Ukraine issue. It's very simple logic. Why shouldn't the Ukrainian President come to Armenia, what's the problem?"
