The second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) took place in New York from 5 to 8 May 2026, dedicated to reviewing progress of the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM).
The delegation of Armenia was headed by Mr. Armen Ghazaryan, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The Deputy Minister delivered statements during the general debate and the ministerial round table, reaffirming Armenia’s commitment to the modernization of its migration management system in line with international standards. The delegation presented the reforms undertaken by Armenia in the field of migration and the steps being taken to strengthen cooperation with international partners.
During the Forum, the Armenian delegation also participated in a number of side events and held bilateral meetings with several delegations.
