On May 5, a discussion titled “Conversation with the Foreign Minister” was held within the framework of the 3rd international Yerevan Dialogue conference, bringing together more than 200 young participants, the Ministry reported.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, the young participants had the opportunity to discuss numerous topics related to Armenia’s foreign policy with Ararat Mirzoyan.
Minister Mirzoyan presented his vision for the future of the Republic of Armenia, addressing the country’s foreign policy priorities and the ongoing efforts toward their consistent implementation. In line with the 'Yerevan Dialogue' slogan, 'Riding Through the Storms,' Ararat Mirzoyan spoke about effectively overcoming challenges amid ongoing and diverse global turbulences, the democratic development of Armenia, and the importance of maximizing existing new opportunities.
Following the minister’s opening remarks, the discussion continued in an active question-and-answer format. Topics included the institutionalization of peace with Azerbaijan, the process of normalizing relations with neighboring countries, as well as steps aimed at expanding partnerships to ensure Armenia’s security, sovereignty, and development.
Minister Mirzoyan stated: “I greatly enjoyed the 2.5-hour discussion with the young participants. I must admit that the questions were quite deep and mature. I hope my answers satisfied them and that the dialogue was interesting for them as well.”
