Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz within the framework of the European Political Community Summit in Yerevan.
The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the Vice President of Türkiye to Armenia and noted that it is of great importance in the relations between the two countries.
Cevdet Yilmaz, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and the invitation to participate in the summit.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the normalization process between Armenia and Türkiye and the implementation of the agreements reached.
As a result of the meeting, a protocol was signed on the implementation of joint restoration works on the historic Ani (Silk Road) Bridge located on the border of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Türkiye. On behalf of the Republic of Armenia, it was signed by Vice President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Special Representative for the Armenia- Türkiye Normalization Process Ruben Rubinyan, and Special Representative for the Armenia- Türkiye Normalization Process, Ambassador Serdar Kılıç signed the protocol on behalf of Türkiye.
