Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot in Paris on Tuesday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
Mirzoyan and Barrot noted with satisfaction the selection and official opening of the new residence of the Armenian embassy in Paris, which is one of the best manifestations of further deepening the partnership between the two countries.
The ministers discussed steps to develop the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasizing the importance of French President Emmanuel Macron’s forthcoming visit to Yerevan. The upcoming programs of cooperation in key domains were discussed, too.
The meeting touched also upon the expanding of the Armenia-EU partnership and cooperation in strengthening democratic resilience.
In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views on regional and international developments.
