The pre-election program of the Civil Contract Party includes a reference to the launch of work on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) investment project, according to which at least the operation of railway power transmission infrastructure is envisaged. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while presenting the party’s pre-election program.
“In 2026, I am already confident that work will begin on the ground, and according to my calculations, the fastest component will be the commissioning of power transmission lines. By the way, this project will also create numerous jobs.
I hope that we will ensure employment through citizens of the Republic of Armenia, and companies will not be forced to attract labor from other countries,” he said.
The pre-election program also refers to the reconstruction of the Gyumri-Turkey border and Yeraskh-Nakhijevan border railway sections. According to Pashinyan, this will be implemented very quickly, namely within 1-1.5 years.
