Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia (RA) went live on Facebook, and presented the ruling Civil Contract party’s election platform ahead of the parliamentary elections on June 7.
“Our election program begins with my message; the message in turn begins with a quote from the government’s 2021-2026 action plan, which was adopted in 2021 in the National Assembly. Of course, I have quoted this passage many times in recent times, but I also want to read it again as an integral part of our election program. And so:
‘Opening an era of peaceful development for Armenia and the region, however, is the greatest mission undertaken by the government before the people by the results of the (2021) snap elections.’
And after the recapping of the 2021 [parliamentary] elections and now, I appeal to the RA citizens:
“Dear citizen of the Republic of Armenia,
I, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, chairman of the Civil Contract party board and candidate for Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, address you.
The Civil Contract party, with your support, has fulfilled the greatest mission it undertook before you.
Peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and thus, an era of peaceful development has opened for Armenia.
In the elections to be held on June 7, together with you, we have a task to solve: we must stand up for peace, which is new, an infant, still vulnerable, and in need of our daily care.
On June 7, go to the polling station and stand up for peace by voting for the Civil Contract Party.
Yours, Nikol,” the premier of Armenia said.
Pashinyan then emphasized that the ideological basis of the election platform of the Civil Contract party is the ideology of "Real Armenia" and the doctrine of Armenia's economic and institutional transformation, and presented the key tasks for 2026-2031.
