Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi in Paris, Armenia’s government press office reports.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the development of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
The course of cooperation between Armenia and the International Atomic Energy Agency was touched upon.
The parties attached importance to the continued implementation of nuclear safety, technical cooperation, as well as expert assistance programs.
They also exchanged views on ongoing programs in Armenia’s energy sector,
small modular reactor technologies, and prospects for the development of nuclear energy.
