Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated, via videoconference, in a remote meeting organized at the initiative of European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. During the meeting, the leaders of several countries in the region discussed the situation surrounding the Middle East and possible ways to reduce regional tensions.
During the discussion, the participants exchanged views on the current situation and possible solutions, emphasizing the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts. In his remarks, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that Armenia is following developments in the region with concern, particularly given that a number of countries involved in the situation are friendly states and partners for Armenia.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and stabilizing the situation, stressing the need for the crisis to be resolved as soon as possible. Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to support all constructive initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability.
