Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary-General of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, ahead of the award ceremony in Abu Dhabi. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, also attended the meeting.
Mohamed Abdelsalam expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for accepting the invitation to participate in the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity ceremony, highlighting the importance of his presence at the event, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.
Both sides expressed confidence that the fact that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan are being honored with the award will give new momentum to the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as contribute to steady progress in promoting cooperation and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the Secretary-General for the warm hospitality and high appreciation, emphasizing the importance of initiatives based on peace and mutual trust.
