The Russian side is in constant contact with its Armenian partners regarding the restoration of railway sections in Armenia under Russian concession. All requests from Yerevan are promptly reviewed by the relevant agencies, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at a weekly briefing.
Responding to a question about the 'TRIPP project,' Maria Zakharova noted that Russia confirms its readiness to explore possible options for participation in this initiative, including taking into account Russian Railways' unique expertise.
"First, it is necessary to thoroughly examine all aspects of the project's implementation and operation, since its development, according to available information, is in its early stages. The Russian side's proposal to hold substantive consultations with Yerevan, involving all interested agencies, remains valid," Zakharova noted.
