On January 26, the Deputy Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Rustam Bakoyan met with the representatives of the Yazidi community in Armenia, including the Head of the Yazidi Spiritual Council, the Head of the Yazidi National Union NGO, as well as the heads of administrative districts.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed a number of issues of concern to the Yazidi community, which referred to religious, cultural problems, national identity preservation issues.
According to the interlocutors, the Yazidi community shows unity regarding the above-mentioned issues.
