Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, in Berlin, met with Gunther Krichbaum, Minister of State for Europe at the Federal Foreign Office.
They discussed the prospects for the development of Armenia–Germany bilateral relations and the expansion of multifaceted cooperation, according to the foreign ministry's readout.
Both sides emphasized the importance of joint efforts to implement the points of the Declaration on the Strategic Agenda for Bilateral Partnership signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany on December 9, 2025.
The officials also addressed a wide range of issues related to the Armenia–EU strategic partnership agenda, highlighting the importance of deepening cooperation in this context. During the meeting, they exchanged ideas on several regional and international matters.
Vahan Kostanyan presented to Gunther Krichbaum the opportunities expected from programs aimed at unblocking regional infrastructure amid the recently established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the implementation of the TRIPP project.
