U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio addressed the joint statement on the publication of the Armenia–U.S. implementation framework for the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project in a post on his social media page.
“Today, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and I issued a statement on the framework document for the implementation of the ‘Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity’ project.
The document is based on the commitments undertaken five months ago at the historic peace summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan, held under the auspices of the President of the United States.
The Trump Route will make it possible to unlock the potential of the South Caucasus in the fields of trade, transit, and energy flows, boosting prosperity and security throughout the entire region,” the U.S. Secretary of State wrote.
It should be recalled that on January 13, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to the ministry’s press service.
Later, Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a joint statement on the publication of the Armenia–U.S. implementation framework for the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project, the text of which was disseminated by the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America.
