As part of his visit to Qatar, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the Embassy of Armenia in Doha, where he met with representatives of the Armenian community in Qatar.
According to a press release by the Presidential Office, Khachaturyan outlined the latest developments in Armenia’s domestic and public life and also touched on the reforms being implemented by the government, particularly in the defense, healthcare, education, and social sectors.
The President emphasized that the well-being of the people and the security of the country are at the core of state policy, and that the ongoing programs in this regard are aimed at achieving long-term and sustainable results. During the conversation, the President also answered questions from community members regarding Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy priorities, as well as the strengthening of ties between the homeland and the diaspora and the potential for implementing joint initiatives.
