On October 31, the RA NA Alen Simonyan took part in the solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the UNDP Mission in Armenia and the 5th anniversary of UNDP-NA cooperation, making welcome remarks.
Alen Simonyan thanked the Head of the Programme, noting that it has greatly contributed to the democratic, economic and institutional progress of Armenia.
The RA NA President expressed hope that the partnership of the National Assembly with the UNDP will be continuous, contributing to increasing the efficiency of the NA’s activities and forming a culture of having a more accountable and transparent legislative body.
In celebration of the partnership, the 30th anniversary of the UNDP Programme mission in Armenia and the 5th anniversary of the effective cooperation with the National Assembly, the UNDP Programme was awarded a commemorative medal.by the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
