Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan has been invited to the United States to discuss certain issues, including the details of the Trump Route project. Papoyan stated this during a briefing after the session of the Civil Contract Party board.
Gevorg Papoyan also addressed the question of what economic effect the opening of the Armenia-Turkey border would have, noting that Armenia’s greatest benefit will be access to the Mediterranean Sea.
It should be reminded that on August 8, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the United States, and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a declaration concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity. The Republic of Armenia will work with the United States and mutually agreed third parties to define the framework for the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) communication project on the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
