Information and Public Relations Department of Armenian Government issued a statement on an article by a Spanish website.
The statement reads:
“Some media outlets are referring to a publication presented as news on July 22, which is actually another manifestation of hybrid warfare and manipulative propaganda. This misinformative material was published on a website of dubious origin called Periodista Digital, which has repeatedly appeared in the center of criticism for the use of fake persons, serving as a platform for the dissemination of manipulative and unsubstantiated materials.
The mentioned article has nothing to do with reality. The positions of the Republic of Armenia on the unblocking of regional transport infrastructure are clearly formulated in the “Crossroads of Peace” project. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan extensively addressed this issue at the press conference on July 16 this year.
Additional clarifications were also made in an interview given to “Armenpress” by the Prime Minister’s press secretary N. Baghdasaryan on July 21 this year. Any information that contradicts the content of the above cannot correspond to reality.
We urge the media and public circles to refrain from spreading such misinformation and to use exclusively official and reliable sources”.
