Nikol Pashinyan and Kristen Michal discuss prospects for development of multilateral relations between Armenia and Estonia

Within the framework of the official visit, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with his Esyonian counterpart Kristen Michal. First, a private meeting of the Prime Ministers of the two countries took place, and then the meeting continued in an expanded format.
 
Kristen Michal thanked the Prime Minister for arriving in Estonia on an official visit and noted that the visit will give a new impetus to the further development and strengthening of multilateral relations between the two countries. The Estonian Prime Minister noted that the Government headed by him is ready to take steps to develop bilateral trade and economic ties and implement joint programs in various directions. Kristen Michal welcomed the broad agenda of reforms of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and expressed the readiness of the Government of Estonia to support their effective implementation.
 
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted that relations between Armenia and Estonia, based on common values and interests, are developing dynamically, not only at the bilateral level, but also within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. The Prime Minister of Armenia emphasized that Armenia is also ready to deepen cooperation with Estonia in all areas of mutual interest. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for Estonia’s continued support for the development of democratic institutions in Armenia.
 
The interlocutors attached importance to the expansion of bilateral trade and economic ties, the promotion of cooperation between businessmen, and the organization of business forums.
 
Nikol Pashinyan and Kristen Michal touched upon Armenia-European Union relations, including the process of implementation of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan, and the introduction of digital solutions in the public administration system.
 
The parties exchanged views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the commitment of the Armenian Government to the peace agenda and expressed hope for the signing of the already agreed upon peace agreement.
 
The Estonian Prime Minister welcomed the steps towards peace and noted that the signing of the agreement will establish long-term and stable peace in the South Caucasus region.
 
Subsequently, an official dinner was hosted in honor of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on behalf of the Estonian Prime Minister.
