The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, visited Baku, where he participated in the conference 'Afghanistan: Regional Interdependence, Security and Development'.
During the visit, Naryshkin also met with the leadership of the Azerbaijani Foreign Intelligence Service and the State Security Service, as well as with the heads of other intelligence agencies.
According to Azerbaijani media, during the negotiations, the Russian official noted that cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in the field of special services is developing dynamically, is constructive, mutually beneficial and trustworthy, and is aimed at protecting the national interests of Russia and Azerbaijan.
