US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien was honored to celebrate Charshama Sarsale, the Yezidi New Year, with Armenia’s Yezidi community, the US Embassy to Armenia reports.
"The music, traditional dances, and a visit to Quba Mêrê Dîwanê, the world's largest Yezidi temple, showcased the Yezidi’s rich cultural heritage and Armenia’s religious tolerance," the statement reads.
