US President Joe Biden warned Iran of the consequences in case of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump or former US officials. He noted that any assassination attempts would be considered an act of war, reports The Washington Post.
US National Security Council spokesman Sean Savett said that Washington had been monitoring Iranian threats against Trump for many years, starting when he was president.
