The President of Azerbaijan received OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid, the parties exchanged ideas on the regional peace agenda.
According to the message of the Azerbaijani side, Aliyev emphasized his country's commitment to the peace agenda and noted that in order to sign a peace treaty, Armenia should change the Constitution, which allegedly contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
The issue of regional communication was also touched upon at the meeting. Helga Maria Schmid, referring to the project of the corridor through the Caspian and Black seas, noted that the project of green ports occupies a significant place in the OSCE agenda.
