Today the RA Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan commented on the resolution recently adopted by the Senate of the Czech Parliament.
"We welcome the adoption of the
resolution by the Senate of the Parliament of Czech Republic on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, which condemns the atrocities committed against humanity during the two world wars, including the Armenain genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
The unanimous decision of the Czech Senate is a significant contribution to the restoration of historical justice and the memory of the victims. It is also an important message for the prevention of genocides and new crimes against humanity”, said Naghdalyan.
