Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan announced at the cabinet meeting that the Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Ministry has been tasked with finding a solution to the traffic jam issue.
“Often, in case of incidents, cars stop and cause a large traffic jam. Within two months, we will have a project to solve these issues,” said Avinyan. Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Minister Suren Papikyan added that “in many developed countries, participants of the incident are obliged to take photos of the incident and remove the cars, while in Armenia it is voluntary if the drivers reach an agreement.”
The Minister assured that optimal solutions would be found during the discussions.
